Ernest Kanyoke, MSc
Executive Director
Ernest is a development planner and an Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) certified and practicing Senior Quality Improvement Advisor. He has over fifteen years of experience in programme design, QI capability building and implementation management in Ghana and the Africa region. He is a IHI Faculty member and has done consultations for USAID-MSH, Partners in Health and JICA.

Jonas K. Akpakli, MSc
Improvement Advisor- Monitoring & Evaluation
Jonas has a decade deep knowledge and experience in public health quality improvement programme design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, data management and research at local, national and global levels. He has a technical expertise in continuous quality improvement, health systems strengthening, maternal, and neonatal and child health, data quality assessment, longitudinal data management and research. He works as a facilitator, coach, mentor, faculty and consultant in building the capability of healthcare staff and development of curriculum in quality improvement and research in Africa and Asia.

Salomey Akparibo, MPH, FISQua
Improvement Advisior
Salomey provides technical guidance on the on-going Adaptive Learning Collaborative of the Maternal and Newborn Healthcare Initiative in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. She joined Ubora Institute in 2016 with vast experience in QI and has since supported in the design, capacitation, implementation and evaluation of QI initiatives in Ghana, Liberia and Ethiopia.

Philomina Amofah, MPH
Improvement Advisior
Philomina is an Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), USA trained quality improvement scientist with experience in quality improvement application in strategy development and implementation, maternal and child health, mental health, patient safety and general capacity and capability building in improving management systems. With her zeal to improve systems, she leads the new business team at Ubora Institute to seek opportunities to support especially health system strengthening through the application of the science of quality improvement.
