On Thursday the 5th of March, the Ubora Institute held a closeout dissemination meeting of the Quality Strategy, Maternal and Newborn Health Project, hosted at the Mensvic Grand Hotel.
Part of the Greater Accra Regional Health Directorate 2019 Annual Performance Review of the Ghana Health Service, the meeting took up one of the two days dedicated to assessing Ghana's Healthcare systems. The theme for the review meeting was strengthening health systems towards attaining universal health coverage - the role of quality data and good governance.
The Ubora institute received glowing reviews. They were applauded for their quality and perceived favorably by their peers and gained profound acknowledgments and recognition from all the facilities and individuals who presented their work. Ubora also presented a project background and their own findings, thanking those involved in the project and allowing people to view and absorb their work.
The conference consisted of several panel discussions that were interactive and informative and encouraged lively participation. Through the various discussions, presentations and reports, it was evident that the operation was a success and the attitudes towards the work being done were generally positive.
The Ubora Institute is a Pan African non-profit organization that strives to make an impact through working diligently to empower and equip health systems in Africa and other resource-constrained countries.
